Deputy Manager – Accounts

Job Description:

Designation: Deputy Manager – Accounts
Academic: MBA in Banking & Finance
Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience
Reports to: Finance Controller
Location: Delhi
Job Purpose: This position shall be handling banking operations, fund management and foreign payment.

Key Responsibilities

Banking Operations:

  1. Oversee daily banking transactions including daily fund statement, availability of funds, payments.
  2. Manage banking relationships, ensure timely limits renewal, CMA filing, Stock Statement.
  3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders for account opening, closure, and maintenance.

 

Accounting & Financial Management:

  1. Prepared daily fund accounts matched with books and bank, track transactions, and prepare BRS.
  2. Prepare Forex gain/loss on closing balances review with financial.
  3. Conduct account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
  4. Prepared Buyer’s credit, FCNR, packing credit, BG working.

 

Compliance & Regulatory:

  1. Ensure adherence to banking regulations, laws, and internal policies.
  2. Monitor and report suspicious transactions, compliance breaches.
  3. Maintain accurate records, documents, and audit trails.
  4. Participate in process improvement initiatives.

 

Specific Banking Products:

  1. Knowledge of Bank Guarantees (BG), Foreign Currency Non-Resident (FCNR) deposits.
  2. Familiarity with Buyer’s Credit, Packing Credit Limit, Term Loan renewal.
  3. Understanding of payment automation, digital banking platforms.

 

Additional Skills

  • Professional certification (Banking regulations)
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP
